To complete your internet presence, it’s good to use a domain specific custom email address.
If you’ve been using a generic email address (Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo etc) for your business correspondence, you are missing the opportunity to use a more personalised contact address.
When you register a domain, you also have the right to use it for a variety of internet applications – including email. Creating a firstname.lastname@example.org address is relatively straightforward. There are few limitations to the number of @yourdomain.com addresses you can have.
Standard options include IMAP and POP3 emails and in most of our hosting plans you can set up as many of these as you need. IMAP and POP3 work perfectly well for most requirements.
For larger storage and added functionality such as the synchronised contacts lists and calenders, exchange mailboxes are the best choice. These can be set up for a small monthly fee, or an exchange mailbox from Google or Microsoft can be made to work with your domain.
